STC-1 Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone The redesigned STC-1 instrument microphone is ideal for recording applications of all kinds. Its flexible design including a three-stage filter and pad switches is especially well suited for acoustic instruments, choir and orchestral recordings. The STC-1 also performs exceptionally for drum and percussion overheads, and as a direct microphone for snare drums and cymbals. The STC-1 is available in a Classic Silver finish with black lettering or Black Satin finish with gold lettering and may be purchased separately or as a matched pair (STC-1S). It is packaged in a velvet-lined wooden box with mounting clip and windshield.
